You are not alone.
We’re so glad you’re checking out care groups! You may be thinking you’re a little out of place, especially if you’re not a part of Crossroads. That’s no big deal!
Open to all, care groups provide help during a specific situation or season of life and meet online and in person or both, depending on what the group needs. They typically meet weekly, lasting anywhere from a few weeks up to a few months.
Care group facilitators and care mentors provide support without judgement, and care group members share encouragement without shaming. Information shared in care groups and/or workshops is not intended nor suited to be a replacement or substitute for professional medical treatment or mental health counseling.
We urge you to always seek the advice of your physician or medical professional with respect to your medical condition. If you are under the care of a physician for a chronic condition please consult with your physician and other care providers before making any lifestyle changes. While not a substitute for professional counseling, groups provide safe places to experience hope and help during challenging seasons of life.
